Strong roots make for tall trees.
If you’re here, you’re probably looking for help navigating something- a significant change in your life, a piece of identity that needs support to settle in, or something from your past that pops up periodically to make a mess of your present. Good on you for seeking support - that step alone can often be daunting enough to keep us stuck.
It’s a well-researched fact that therapy is most effective when you and your therapist “click”. Because people are diverse, then, it makes sense that not every therapist is right for every person seeking one. Don’t get me wrong- it’s important that your therapist be ethical and have appropriate training, but beyond that it’s easy to get overwhelmed when trying to find someone who can help you feel safe and seen. Regardless of whether I’m that person for you, I want you to know: it’s OK, I’d even say very important, to trust your gut. Meet potential therapists whenever possible to get a sense of how it feels to talk with them. Most of us offer free consultations, and want you to find the right support.
With all that in mind, that’s what my site is here for: to help you get an inital sense of who I am, how I work, and whether I might be the right fit for you. If you’re interested in knowing more about me, check out the links up in the header.
